Hero Arts website challenge & Thinking Inking Week 5

Happy Monday! This card has techniques from the alcohol week of Thinking Inking and is part of the website challenge for Hero Arts. This card was my inspiration for the Hero Arts challenge.
I love using alcohol inks. I picked up some more this weekend! I used a transparency and swiped three colors across it to create a scene at dusk. I backed the transparency with an alcohol ink covered glossy paper to make it look more like night time.
Thanks to a 50% off Michael's coupon I just bought this EK Success border punch. I absolutely love it!
Paper: Neenah Paper Classic Crest (solar white), Paper Source Stardream (opal), Papertrey Ink (lemon tart), transparency
Ink: Papertrey Ink (true black), Ranger Archival Ink (jet black), Ranger alcohol inks (wild plum, stream, lettuce)
Stamps: Hero Arts (three designer leaves), Technique Tuesday (thanks for everything words we love)
Etc: EK Success embossed curve border punch, Ranger alcohol ink blending solution, Ranger Ink applicator, ink applicator felt
Thank you so much for visiting!

Have an amazing day,

  2. Cute card. After watching the videos I want to go get some inks as well! So cool.

  3. Totally adorable. You've convinced me to give this a try, I'll break out my inkers :P
