2 sketches 4 you 52: Hope

Hello! I can't believe it's my second week with 2 sketches 4 you! The sketch and sponsor are super fab this week! The sponsor is Whimsy Haven Digital Stamps, and I absolutely flipped when I saw this stamp, not only because it is gorgeous, but it is also from the poem that was read at Mike's and my wedding!

Check out the amazing sketch by Kazan:
So fun! :)
I had a blast coloring this stamp in PhotoShop. I took an online photo of the Max and Whiskers Basic Grey papers I used, picked up the colors, and colored the stamp with it. It is such a fun way to customize a digistamp to your patterned papers.
I used a sheet music stamp in the background to go along with the quote stamp by Whimsy Haven. I also got pretty distressy for me! It was super fun! One tip: If you have a cheapy printer like I do, distress the paper before you print the stamp on it so as to not smear the stamp. I learned that the hard way. Waiting for it to dry could also help. Hehe! So, I guess the tip is for impatient people. :)

Go check out the other designers and play along with us at the 2s4y blog! Have a great Monday!
