Hello! Welcome to Lawn Fawn's July release week! We will be starting design team sneak peeks tomorrow, but today we have the big giveaway post! Make sure to scroll to the end for the details!
Today I am sharing a scrapbook page for the first time. This is the second page I have ever made, so please be kind! :)
The reason I decided to share this page today is this photo of my grandmother inspired one of our sets! It was taken in Varadero Beach in Cuba in 1952. I just love this photo! Scrapbooking was also an inspiration for the other set, too!
Here is my journaling: "This is one of the few photos I have of my grandmother in her youth. Isn't she beautiful? I love her smile in this photo. Her squinted eyes and big cheeks are just like mine. I am so glad I learned to smile with abandon from my Bila."
I had a lot of fun putting this page together because I thought of things that my grandmother would have liked! Beautiful American Crafts papers, the Martha Stewart butterfly border punch, the colors, were all things that she would have enjoyed. I am really starting to love scrapbooking. I am one of the rare few that started with card making! I hope I can keep growing with it and learn how to get better from all of you talented chicas out there!
Okay, so let's move on to the big giveaway, and here it is: We are giving away July's sets to one lucky winner! I decided to start this earlier this time, so you would have more time to enter. We will also be giving away a set for commenters on the each of the sneak peeks too! (just like before :) )
We want to make sure you have more chances to win the big giveaway, so here is the deal:
- Leave a comment. (easy peasy!)
- Become a fan on Facebook and leave another comment. (If you are already a fan, you can leave a comment)
- Follow Lawn Fawn on twitter and tweet about our release week and our store or blog address (for example "Did you see @lawnfawn is having a release week with giveaways? Check it out at http://www.lawnfawn.com or http://lawnfawn.blogspot.com"), and leave another comment. (make sure to @lawnfawn so we can see your tweets!)
- Follow this blog through the blogger follower or through Google Reader and leave another comment. (If you already follow, you can leave a comment.)
That gives you four possible entries! Remember if you do all four that means that you have left four different comments. You have until July 7th at 10:00pm EDT to enter. We will announce the winner here on the blog when we finally reveal the sets and add them to the store on July 8th at 12:01am EDT :)
Thank you so much for playing along! I can't wait to start sneak peeks on the 6th! Hugs to you all!
Card stock: Bazzill (lemonade)
