This second set is called "Judy's Blooms", and it is all about big flowers! The design team rocked it again, so let's get to it!
Jessica's card is such a stunner. I don't even know where to begin! I think my favorite part is the way she cut the petals and popped them up. I can't wait to try it!
Ashley's layout is wowza! I love it so much! The photo is stunning and the flowers being held by clothespins is brilliant! As you can see these flowers are definitely big enough for a layout!
Lynnette's card is just perfect! Stamping the flowers without coloring gives such a simple elegance, so does her fabby color combo! Love it! This card would be so cool made in a bunch of colors for a card set present!
Tiffany made a layout and card combo! I love it! The paper pieced flowers are just amazing! And using the flowers for the "O"s in bloom is brilliant! I heart these projects so much! What a wonderful gift to give!
Latisha's flower panel is so cool! I love how she popped up the flowers and the amazing color combo: wowza! The bow is so cool, too! More love! Also loving the big scallops and how this card oozes happy!
Sarah has made the best shabby card! Pinks and golds, doilies, butterflies, and a giant gorgeous paper pieced flower = perfection!
Mariana knocks it out of the park again! I love the button centers in the flowers. It gives the flower such a different look! I also love the way she created the background with one of the flowers too. This set will be perfect for making your own patterned paper!
Make sure you click on each of the design team's names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite books when I was younger were all by Shell Silverstien. Any of them - I had 2 of them gifted to me and still have them to this day and now my boys enjoy them although not nearly as much as I did. Where the sidewalk ends is my ultimate favorite and then I also own A light in the attic
Oh, WOW, I love these, Kelly!!! AND I LOVE the name - how clever is that!? My FAVE author when I was in 3-5 grades!
ReplyDeleteYour DT really did rock this one Kelly. I love Judy Blume but my fave was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis. I still have my copy and read it so many time it's literally falling apart at the seams now. I think it's missing pages too. Thanks for a chance to win!

I used to loveeee all of Judy Blume's books when I was growing up. Can't quite recall all of the titles right now.. but I do remember liking "Blubber" and "Here's to You, Rachel Robinson". They were all such fun books! :)
I loved the Little Prince even though I didn't yet understood all the meaning in it!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! I just love flower stamps!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite books to read when I was younger were the Sweet Valley books (Sweet Valley Twins and Sweet Valley High).
My favorite one was one of the AA Milne books of poems, something about one step down, one step up. Since having children I've got to say I'm a huge fan of Mo Willems. His books are great.

ReplyDeleteLove your giveaway question too, it brought back some really lovely memories! My favourite book as a child was Mrs Tiggywinkle by Beatrix Potter
Everyone created such gorgeous projects with this new set. I'm in awe!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book growing up was "...And Now Miguel". It was written about my dad's family and won the Newberry Award in 1954. When Amazon was very, very new, they boasted having a million titles. I thought for sure they wouldn't have this book, so I was impressed that they not only had it, but they had it in both paperback and hard cover. I've loved Amazon every since.

ReplyDeletehmm..fave book....probably beverly cleary's books!
Hahaha! You're so clever! :) I was thinking as I was oogling the wonderful samples, I wonder if Kelly's ever heard of Judy Blume- and then deciding you're probably too young- since she was so popular when I was a kid!!! :)

ReplyDeleteI have so many favorite childhood books, but let's just say that I could not even count just how many times I read "Are You There God? Its Me, Margaret" and "Deenie". And I do distinctly remember a certain book report presentation day when I brought all the ingredients into the class and made some Freckle Juice. The poor boy who had to go after me (Sorry, David!) was not overly thrilled. Turns out, Freckle Juice does not smell good...not good at all.
Hope the rest of your week blooms brightly!! :>:>
