Release week post
Bannerific and Sophie's Sentiments post, Day 1
AND today's post too! :)
Today is day 2 of showcasing "Bannerific" and "Sophie's Sentiments". The design team is showing you new and fun ways to use these sets! I also have a little video on the bottom to show you how these sets work together and apart! Remember to click on the person's name or card to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! :)
Ashley's card is so fun and trendy. Doilies, check. Rolled flowers, check. Stitching, check. She puts all of these items together effortlessly! I just love it! I saw a few people mention in the comments yesterday that their banners might say "it's a girl" or "it's a boy". Well, we have both options in this set! I also think it could be fun to write "it's a ..." for someone who is waiting to find out! :)
I am just loving Lynnette's banner card! Paper piecing these banners looks SO cute! How fun are these colors, too?! She used the "happy birthday" sentiment from Sophie's Sentiments not in a banner, so you can see how these could work with any kind of card you make!
Latisha's card is just so cute! She proves that this set can be used for masculine cards too! All of her rounded corners really work well with the flowing shape of the banner. With the birds, you can have them holding up the sign, or just flying around it like Latisha did. Both ways look so cute!
Sarah Martina's card is a stunner! I am still in awe of these colors! So gorgeous! She has really demonstrated how feminine and delicate these banners can be! You also get to see one of the other banners in this card too! I also have to say how much I love the angel that she used. My grandmother (the one in the beach picture in Cuba that we modeled our Swimsuit Season one piece from) used to make angels just like this. She had a kiln and everything. I know she is just smiling down on this card!
I just love Mariana's card! She has effortlessly combined so many Lawn Fawn sets! A floral background and birthday sentiment from Sophie's Sentiments, pennants from Bannerific, letters from Harold's ABCs, and a cupcake from Bake Me A Cake! These two new sets will work so well with other Lawn Fawn sets and other stamp sets that you own, too! I just love that the Harold's ABCs letters fit in the pennants. This will make customize cards, gift bags, layout titles a snap! Also, could Marian's card be any more fun? Bright happy colors and an awesome sketch make this one fantastic card!
Tiffany has made the sweetest wedding ensemble! Once again, you need to go see all of the details at her blog! There are so many things to see! She shows how perfect Bannerific and Sophie's work for invitations. Print your info and details and stamp the banner above for a perfectly wonderful handmade invite! Birthdays, weddings, baptisms, Bar Mitzvah's, anything! Tiff used the the pennants in a fun way around her flower holder, and her gift bag shows how the happy quirkiness of Sophie's Sentiments! What an ensemble! Just stunning!
Make sure you click on each of the design team's names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!
Now, I have a quick little video for you showing these sets in action and what is possible with them. I hope you enjoy it! Watch it below or at You Tube.
I hope you have enjoyed this second sneak peek of "Bannerific" and "Sophie's Sentiments". Tomorrow we have a super fun set for you that is long awaited! I just can't wait to show you! ReplyDeleteAny reason to celebrate is always a wonderful time for me. I love to see people happy & to see them smile so anything that involves it.. LETS Have a party I'm there!

These are such great cards, and I really loved the video showcasing how versatile these new sets are! You're too cute, Kelly. :o) LOVE that little flourish!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite day of the year to celebrate is actually Christmas Eve. In my family, that's the evening we all gather for great food, laughter, conversation, caroling, followed by the reading of the Christmas story and then opening gifts.
Then while most people are awakened at 4AM Christmas morning by the kids, we actually get to sleep in while the kids get up and play with their new toys, and then have a big brunch together.
But Christmas Eve is definitely the best. It's more than that, it's magical. :o)
I love how versatile this set is. Great projects once again. Stashing away my money to buy buy buy!!
