Hello and welcome to the first sneak peek of Lawn Fawn's September release! We are SO excited about this release! It is filled with holiday fun and a "basics" type set that you will love! We have three stamp sets, and they will be for sale on September 16th at 12:01 am EDT and until then we will have sneak peeks and giveaways and lots of fun inspiration!

Today is our showcase of "Harvest Season". This 4" x 6" set is perfect for Fall and Thanksgiving and even has some year round uses, too! The design team has knocked it out the park again with lots of inspiration! I also have a little video on the bottom showcasing some features of the set!

Mariana's card is just gorgeous rustic Fall! I love the way she created the tone on tone background with the leaf and swirl images from the set! Her coloring on the cornucopia is beyond amazing! Oh my goodness! How does she do it?! Mariana's addition of that thick twine is the perfect Fall touch!
Tiffany has knocked it out of the park again! This Thanksgiving ensemble is amazing! I am telling you right now that you need to head over to her blog to see all of the details! She used the Fall leaves from the set to create the images for the inside of her menu and for the leaves on her place card pumpkin! The transition from felt to paper piecing to direct ink is so fun and really gives dimension. I just love the way she customized her frame with the cornucopia, patterned paper and stitching. It is just beautiful!
Danni has created a gorgeous Fall masterpiece! She cut out a tree for the paper pieced leaves from the set to sit on. So pretty and fun to do! I love her use of Thickers for the sentiment, and her stitching invokes the beginning of the winter months. Stitching always feels so warm to me! Paper piecing is such a fun technique to use with this set!
Latisha's use of bright yellow is so refreshing for fall! I also adore the yellow ribbon on yellow card stock! Her cornucopia coloring is fantastic, and I love the way she placed leaves around the card! Also, how fun is that frame that she created? I love how that technique could be used to highlight any type of image in a card! Wonderful!
Teri's card is so fun! She used our big "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment as a focal point. I love that her ledger background paper evokes a back-to-school feel, too! Placing the leaves in different orientations (especially upside down) really gives a feeling of falling leaves! The Fall colored gems are a perfect touch!
Lynnette's card is so fun and uses so many of the images from the set! Her clear heat embossed leaves in the back are so fun and her window highlights my favorite sentiment from the set! She even used the swirls from the set as flourishes around the sentiment! The cornucopia is just fantastic! I love all of the bright colors in it!

Great DT work there!! I absolutely love the colors of fall. We like to wait till there are tons of leaves in all different colors, rake them and toss the kids into the piles and then rake them and bag them as a family. Can't beat the weather either.

I love the tingle of chill in the lungs and watching my breath come out as a bit of vapor (prob not possible in Cali)! ;) I love the dazzle of faint frost on trees and grass! I love the fashion and wardrobe changes! The only thing I don't like about fall is the anticipation of winter... :(

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about fall is that it is such a feast for the senses. The colored leaves rustling underfoot, the crisp breeze, the smell of apple cider and cinnamon donuts... and the general spirit of thankfulness that seems to pervade everywhere you go.
I love the you are a blessing sentiment. Fall is a time for setting in and getting comfortable for the coming winter. Making sure everything is in order and comfy.

ReplyDeleteFavourite thing about fall is, oh, where to start... I adore everyting about fall (except maybe the bit about my children havng to wear all those clothes), especially the cool air and the cosy evenings with candles, tea and a good book or working on a scrapbooking project :)
my favorite thing about fall is the smell. i don't know how to describe it - it is not burning leaves though - but it's something and I love to be outdoors on a cool fall day because of it!

ReplyDeleteFall is my Fav. Season so to me I love it all! Boat loads of Bdays (including mine) The crunches leaves I get to step on. YES I do that.. The amazing colors that I get to enjoy on my morning walks.. the Warm sweaters I get to wear while drinking a warm drink & of course Thanksgiving. What is there not to love about Fall!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about fall is the clothes! :) There's always great styles and colors, and yummy chunky sweaters, but it's not super cold so you still have some room to play - I mean, what feels better than dark denim jeans with flip flops? :) But, of course, I always look forward to apple picking with my hubby... we go in early October and make TONS of applesauce, chutneys, and jams.

Well in Florida, it's still hot and stick in the Fall, the leaves don't change..it's pretty non eventful! I love getting to light all my fall themed candle's and get out my fall home decor and wait for Christmas and cooler weather!

What a great set--love that cornucopia! Here in Hawaii, the climate gets a little cooler during the fall months and we can actually wear sweaters!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about fall is the smell in the air. I know it sounds wierd or strange of me but it's true the smell of the air changes for me at least and I love it in the fall. I love sitting either around a fire with a cup of warm cider or in the house with a cup of warm cider . Fall is my FAVORITE season and I am most busy this time of year. Love everything about it.
