Lawn Fawn October 2010 release week giveaway + Announcements!

Happy World Card Making Day! I hope you guys are getting crafty! We are celebrating by introducing Lawn Fawn's October release week! We have a new design team member and a guest design team member to announce AND this is our big giveaway post too! Make sure to make it all of the way to the bottom for a chance to win ALL FOUR of October's sets!

Okay, let's get on to a goodbye first. Jessica Rosario will be leaving the Lawn Fawn design team team for personal reasons. Jessica is such an amazing paper crafter, and, more importantly, a wonderful person. We will miss her so much here at Lawn Fawn, but once you are a fawny girl, you are one for life! My name is Lea Lawson, and I reside in beautiful Missoula, Montana.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Josh, for 8 years, and we have two of the cutest dogs in the world- a yorkie named Bailey and a cocker spaniel named Sadie.  I am a professional photographer, who focuses on weddings and senior portraiture, but also throw my hat in on some families and babies at times.  I have been crafting in some shape or form for as long as I can remember!  While I used to scrapbook more than I made cards, the tables have completely turned and I actually barely scrapbook any longer.  I almost 100% exclusively make cards now, and I love it!  The card making community is wonderful, and I have met some amazing women through it.  You can see my work on my personal blog, or in publications like Paper Crafts Magazine/Special Issues, and Cards Magazine.

We also have another super fun announcement: We have Maile Belles as our guest designer this month! She is absolutely fantastic and so talented! And, we are so thrilled to have her with us, too! Let's get to know her!

I'm a southern California girl that loves to stamp and play in the outdoors.  I've been blessed with a wonderful little family.  Which started with a marriage to my loving and supportive husband, almost ten years ago, and now we have an adorable three and a half year old son.  My passion for stamping and card making begun November of 2007, when friends invited me to a Christmas card stamping party. And I haven't stopped since!  Currently I design for Embellish Magazine, Papertrey Ink and Wplus9.  And now, I have the opportunity to share some fabulous Lawn Fawn with you all!  Thanks Kelly!

Could I be more excited about having Lea and Maile with us? I don't think so! We are the luckiest crafty company in the world to have this amazing  and wonderful design team! We can't wait to see all of their amazing projects, and I bet you guys can't wait either!
