Lynnette's card is so fabulous! I love the Studio Calico mix with this fun sentiment. It shows that these sentiments can definitely be "masculinized"! :) I love the way she stamped the airplane separately, too! It makes it so fun!

LF_mgrigsby_035a
Mariana's card is so beautiful! She shows how feminine and beautiful these sentiments can be also! I love how she used the lace from the Chipper Lawn Trimmngs as a background. Gorgeous! Adding that mini flower is just a perfect touch to this sentiment, too!

TiffanyHelloFriend2
Tiffany's card is inspired by her recent move! She upcycled a piece of one of her moving boxes, wrote her new address on the back and used this sweet sentiment on the front! Isn't it just perfect for sending a new address?! I love how clever this is. She was able to get the sentiment in different colors by using markers on stamps!
LF_Dec_SunFriend_t
Teri's card is just so fun! A rhinestone cowboy hat on a smiley sunshine? Oh yes! I love it! Partly Cloudy and Hats Off to You have become the perfect backdrop for this sweet sentiment that the set was named after! I love the use of some of our new string in the Dapper Lawn Trimmings!

LawnFawn-HelloFriend-LatishaYoast
Latisha's card is so elegant! She shows that these sentiments can easily be the focal point of a card, especially when using a fun die cut shape like this! The pleated ribbon is just the cherry on top! I love it!

Lea's card is just lovely! I love her bright colors and her big bow using ribbon from the Dapper Lawn Trimmings. Gorgeous! The sentiment is just perfect for showing off those gorgeous rhinestone flowers. This is a perfect card to send to a friend to let them know how much they mean to you!

Latisha has made such a gorgeous wowza card! I love it! She shows how these whimsical images work so well with soft and beautiful paper and trims. I love that! Also, the sentiments in this set are a perfect fit for Bannerific, too!

TiffanyFlyFree1
Tiffany's card is just so cool! I just love acetate cards! She created a gorgeous background patterned paper with Petite Florals. It is stunning! A perfect background for this Fly Free birdie! I actually did a double take thinking it was patterned paper at first! :)

DSC_0118
Lynnette's card is just springy happiness! She used Critters in the 'Burbs to create the grass and bird trail, Partly Cloudy for the clouds and Fly Free for the sentiment and birds! I just love her coloring too! It perfectly matches the yellow ribbon from the Chipper Lawn Trimmings collection!

Lea's two mini cards are just adorable! One rounded corner is my favorite! Love it! She also used the string from the Dapper Lawn Trimmings for the perfect rustic touch! Making a mini card set like this in different colors would be a perfect Holiday gift!

LF_Dec_LoveLife_t
Teri's card is just so sweet! I love the torn paper on the bottom stamped with Teeny Tiny Backdrops! I am thinking hearts are the new polka dots :). I love the clothespins holding up the Bannerific banner with the Fly Free sentiment. Her coloring of the birds is gorgeous. I love those lines of light blue!

LF_mgrigsby_034a
Mariana's card is stunning! How fun is the paper pierced bird trail?! Also, I love the use of the Dapper Lawn Trimmings ribbon to highlight her patterned paper strip. A label like this is the perfect way to highlight these sweet birds. The three buttons are just genius, too!

video + bliss mini album page

DSC_0018
Hello! Today I have another Lawn Clippings video! Woo! I decided to make a mini album page using Petite Florals and the American Crafts City Park line. I had so much fun!

DSC_0017
It is a really simple and quick page, but I love that I got to document a little story. I took the photo with my Hipstamatic app on my iPhone (I love that app so much!) I had trouble printing it on my Epson Picturemate. Anyone know how to get it to print 4x4? I put down some decorative tape and messy stitched over it. Why messing stitching? Because that's the only stitching I know how to do! Haha!

DSC_0011
Here is my journaling all about taking road trips with my sweet hubby!

I have a video on how to make fun Petite Florals gardens and this mini page. You can watch it here or at You Tube.

Thank you so much for watching!!!
Patterned Paper: American Crafts City Park
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (petite florals)
Ink: Papertrey Ink
Etc: American Crafts decorative tape, feltie, Thickers; October Afternoon journaling sticker, sewing machine, Canvas page from Downa Downey Prima mini album

mini sports blog hop!

Hello! Today I am doing a really fun mini sports blog hop! We are all picking our favorite football team and making a card inspired by the logo! You should have come from Lynnette's blog! My favorite NFL team is the Miami Dolphins. I grew up in Miami and even had a Dan Marino doll as a kid! Haha!

DSC_0115 23-43-36
This my Dolphins card! I, of course, had to use the dolphin from Critters in the Sea! I created some free hand cut waves from Core'dinations paper and sanded it some. I used Hats Off To You for the sentiment, and Partly Cloudy for the clouds and sun! I love how much our sun looks like the Dolphins logo. That wasn't even planned at all! Erica drew that, and I am pretty sure she has never seen the Dolphins logo! It must have been fate! :)

I used foam dimesion in a fun way on the dolphin. I put glue dots on his nose and tail and foam adhesive in the middle. He really looks like he is diving into the waves this way!

Your next stop on the blog hop is Brandi! Make sure to head on over to her blog to see all of the fun inspiration! :)

DSC_0122
This is an extra little quick card that I made from a scrap and only stuff I had on my desk! I thought that would be a fun challenge! I had originally thought my card above would be standard sized but instead I made it into a 4.25" square, and I was left with this little strip. I sprayed it with a spray mist! I couldn't believe it because I am kind of scared of them. I did it in my sink and then smeared it around on the card. I love how soft it looks! I made the flower with fabric paper and my new favorite Sizzix 3D flower die. I love that thing! It had been sitting on my desk for a while! The swirl is from Petite Florals. Lawn Fawn sets always litter my desk top! Hehe! :)

I hope you all had great weekends! We are gearing up for Thanksgiving here and the new Lawn Fawn release! Posts start on Saturday the 28th for the December release! Woooo! :)

Make sure to head to Brandi's blog next if you are hopping along the sports blog hop! :)
Card stock: Neenah, Core'dinations
Ink: Memento, ColorBox Pigment, Ranger Distress, Tattered Angels mist

good luck flowers

Here is a quick little card using Petite Florals and Just My Type, Too! I love that the sentiments from that set can work with any card! Here I stamped the flowers on my card and then overlayed paper pieced flowers with glue dots. I rolled the edges of the flowers for more dimension! I just love making flower gardens with Petite Florals!
Card stock: Neenah, Papertrey
Patterned Paper: Studio Calico, American Crafts
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (petite florals, just my type, too)

Hello! I have a quick and easy little Hanukkah card for today. This card is perfect to tuck in a little gift! I love making tiny cards out of my scraps! I just fold whatever scraps I have in half and make a card. I heat embossed this with a really cool Aegean embossing powder. It has blue sparkles in it. It is really awesome in person!
