Hello and welcome to the third post of Lawn Fawn's May release and inspiration week! We are just so excited about this week! We have nine stamp sets, and they will be revealed on May 19th at 12:01 am EDT and until then we will have fun posts and giveaways and lots of inspiration!

Chan's card is summer fun! The brads in the pinwheels are perfect. I love how she cut up the sentiment, and stamped and cut out the Bon Voyage cloud, but then turned it over!
Lea's card is shabby and gorgeous! I love the pinwheel in the bike basket, and how she used the pennant flag as bunting! Wonderful!
Nichol's card us such fun! I love the colors and the gorgeous coloring on the pinwheels. The way she layered them with a brad gives them so much movement!
Tiffany's ensemble is so sweet! The cupcake pinwheel topper is genius, and I love the bike behind the patterned paper grass! The stamped cupcake wrapper is so cute!
Teri's card is so beautiful! I love the mix of patterns and the paper pieced pinwheels are gorgeous! The pearls in the center are the perfect finishing touch!
Lynnette's card is so happy! I love how she created the flower grass from the flowers that normally go in the bike basket! Brilliant! She also shows that the pennant sentiments work really well on their own, too!
Julie's card is so pretty! The stitching is just perfect, and I love how she took the colors from the patterned paper for her bike. Layering the basket over looks wonderful and gives it great dimension!
Latisha's is so clean and classic! I love the way she paper pieced the pinwheels and then colored in parts of them. It looks fantastic! The strip of paper that extends past the edge of the card is gorgeous, too!

ReplyDeleteMore fun images!!! My favorite summer activity is eating fresh corn on the cob :>) Not sure that counts as "active", everything that first comes to mind is food related. My other fave is picking strawberries and making jam - oh the smell just fills my kitchen and is soooo yummy!

My favorite summer activities are BBQs with friends and day trips around my own backyard...San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur.
Camping is my favorite summertime activity. If I could camp my whole life long, I might just do that!

It's summer all year round here in M'sia...so its really nothing special about it, but when I was staying in Europe, it was really nice to go for a dip in the pool!

ReplyDeleteThis set left me speechless. I just adore all the images in there and it has so much to offer. I really like the pin wheels and those swirls will be so creative to use. I really love to wet friends of my younger daughter with the sprinkler while watering the garden. They run around me giggling, shrieking, making all the fun noise.

Great looking set and Fabulous samples. I don't usually try to pull any out specifically but I LOVE Nichol's double pinwheels and Lea's outlined bike and solid embellishments. As for my summer- anything that's cool. I'm not a hot-weather fan so I want to cool off as much as possible.

ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not our favorite summer activity besides cooling off in a pool in the heat of the summer is riding bikes. all four of us go riding all around our neighborhood, the wind as you are riding your bike feels wonderful but also daily my two kids beg to let them play outside and all they do is ride their bikes. They have now made friends with other kids in the block and guess what? all they do is ride their bikes all of them play cops and robbers in bikes.
I love all the sets!!! My favorite summer activity is just hanging out with my family. I don't care what we're doing as long as we can spend some time together. She's growing up too fast to not enjoy all the little things!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer activity (and possibly favorite memory of all time!) is riding my bike with my husband down in Southpark, PA so our favorite spot under a giant maple tree. My childhood best friends, sister and I would ride our bikes everywhere during the summer, tell stories, have water fights, and stay out until the lightning bugs came out! We never really spent much time indoor playing video games during summer vacation (and that was in the 90s!)

ReplyDeleteThere's nowhere near here to swim in the summer sadly, so I must amuse myself with enjoying a walk around town with my hubby, and just smelling all the lovely flowers that are in bloom then. We're so far behind now, the dandelions are just coming out.

My favorite summer time activity is hiking and riding the Harley with my husband. We are waiting for tomato season so we can ride up to Ojai to our favorite restaurant and enjoy their amazing tomato salad!

ReplyDeleteOh gosh - there are so many things I enjoy doing in the summer, it's hard to pick just one favorite activity! My list of faves includes having fresh vegetables from our garden, going to amusement parks, and sleeping in (I am so NOT a morning person!).

My favorite summer activity is watching the 4th of July fireworks. No matter how old I get, I am still in awe of the show. I also find fireworks so romantic. And they bring back wonderful memories of summers past.

Oh my these stamps are beyond adorable! The bike is so fun and perfect, we love biking in the summer! My dh does many bike races and this will be a perfect set to make him some good luck or congrats cards!

Oh I just LOVE the pinwheels! I'm so excited for this set!!! My favorite summer activity would have to be the daily trips to the park with my girls! We have a small beach at the park too so the kids play in the water too! Just walking distance from our us!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite stamp set so far! I grew up on the eastcoast and in the summer I'd love to hang out on the beach - swimming, napping, reading, walking...all while getting a great tan. But now that we live in the midwest, I'm having to get used to the lakes instead. The Great Lakes almost look like the ocean...and no sharks! :)

My parents & I used to make homemade peach ice cream every summer. This summer I'd like to try that with my kids...after I buy an ice cream maker, of course! :)

The pinwheels are so cute and I love the bike! I love cruisers but know that for actual riding I really prefer my mountainbike. Gorgeous stamps, as always!

I hate to admit it, but my favorite summer activity is staying inside in air conditioning lol! I HATE the heat, and here in the east we have humidity too, and I like to be cooool! I adore this stamp set, love the pinwheels, and I don't have any bike stamps yet, this definitely looks like one I'll need!

Pinwheels?! I love pinwheels! And that bike is adorable!!! My favorite summer activity - since it gets hotter than blue blazes in Arkansas, I love to go to the pool with my kids!
