Hello, everyone! I hope you all are having wonderful days!
For this card, I used Versamark and Schoolhouse Backdrops to create the diagonal lines on the turquoise card stock. It was fun to create a custom patterned paper for the card! I created the leaves and the fun yellow scalloped border with Blissful Botanicals. The scalloped border was created by cutting the long leaf line in half, and I love using the Botanicals leaves to accent flowers! I decided to make this a birthday card using Sophie's Sentiments because there are so many birthdays coming up!
Normally, I don't share personal stuff on here, but I wanted you all to know why I have been so absent from Twitter and Facebook and late with emails. My grandfather fell and has been in the hospital. It's been tough. He and I are very close. I have called him everyday since I could pick up a phone. We are hoping that he can continue improving and hopefully go to a rehab center where he can strengthen his back.
