Lawn Clippings video Wednesday {11.16.11}

Today we are making a felt poinsettia Christmas card using Blissful Botanicals and Sally's ABCs. We go through making the felt flower and creating the card!

  1. Kelly, I love your card especially that Pointsetta. I am in no way a seamstress as well but I think I can manage to do this too. Just ordered the botanical stamp set as well and can't wait to play. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Oh geez my list of things I want to try is getting longer, going to have to add this flower to it now. By the way, my tip for arranging pieces then trying to remember how I had them after taking them off the card... I take a picture with my phone then I have it as reference when I'm putting the pieces back on. :)

  16. too funny that you use a marker to hide the thread! I can't sew at.all and this might get me to try a little. never thought to use a square punch either for the banner look! great tips!!

  17. I have had several trimmers and the Fiskars trimmer with the wire line is my all-time favorite! I can see exactly where it is going to cut.
    This card was so pretty... I plan on making some of the poinsettias.
