Hello and welcome to the first post of Lawn Fawn's September inspiration week! We are just so excited about this week! We are featuring three stamp sets and the Fa-La-La and Dewey Decimal paper collections, and we will have fun posts and giveaways and lots of inspiration!

Today is our showcase of "Fa-La-La". This collection is so much fun and perfect for the holidays. It has 9 double sided papers (18 designs), a 6x6 pad, 2 sticker sheets and Lawn Trimmings. The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a little video on the bottom showing the collection!

Julie's mason jar is too cute! She used the Fa-La-La papers, stickers and Peppermint Lawn Trimmings to decorate it, and I love it!
Lynnette's layout is so sweet! I love the way she used the O Christmas Tree paper as the background, and Bella is so cute!
Melissa S.'s layout is gorgeous! I love how she used the Let it Snow stamped trees combined with Fa-La-La paper and stickers. Perfect!

Latisha's card set is too cute! I love how she combined the Fa-La-La papers and the And A Partridge stamp set which goes perfectly!

The Lawn Fawn fawnie girls have done it again! I am BLOWN AWAY by all of your talent!!! Whew :) I gotta say that my favorite holiday carol is "O Holy Night" cuz I love the sounds of it. I also like that Cartman sings it in one of the South Park episodes. It is a fantastic song, full of emotion. Thanks so much for the incredible inspiration, you all are amazing!

ReplyDeleteIf I'm being honest, it's Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer or some obnoxious version of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer... not because of the songs themselves but I can just remember how fun my big kids thought it was to sing those when they were young, lol! :-)

ReplyDeleteAs for my favorite Christmas Carol, for traditional I would pick "Away in a Manger", and for a more fun side, I would have to pick "Little Saint Nick" by the Beach Boys. But for a very little known song which is really beautiful, "The Star Carol" by Simon and Garfunkel is my all time favorite.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was little I love the "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" song. I learned it at school (I'm from Perú) and on christmas at english class we sang and sang until we knew it :) Funny and good memories.

I always get goosebumps when we sing it at church at the midnight service with our candles lit and the church lights dimmed. It really makes me think of the true meaning of Christmas.

ReplyDeleteWhat fun projects! It's hard to pick a favorite Christmas carol, but I love singing "Silent Night" at the candlelight Christmas Eve service each year.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's actually a carol, but my favorite Christmas song is "Have A Holly, Jolly Christmas" especially sung by Burl Ives. You just can't help but smile and feel better about mankind when you hear it.
ReplyDeleteOh my!! I love this! My favorite christmas "carol" is one we sing on Christmas eve - every year - in church. It's also the ONLY song that would calm my son down when he was a baby (Mariah Carey edition, of course) - Hark the Harold Angels Sing!
