Hello, everyone! Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so we thought we would put together a little Valentine's Day Inspiration week with the design team! Come by every day this week to see some lovey-dovey projects!
Check out our previous posts:
Day 1
Day 2
Chari's card is too sweet!! She used Bee Mine to create a custom background, Here's the Scoop for her sweet treat, And a Partridge for the sentiment (love that a holiday set can be used year round), and our new set Critters on the Savanna (releases mid February) for the giraffes! She used mirror stamping. Here is a link to a video by Chari that shows this technique!
Next up we have our newest design team member, Elena Roussakis! Elena is fabulously talented, and we are so thrilled to have her join our team! Woohooo!!
Here is a little bit about her:
I drink lots of coffee. Lots. I’ve been happily married for 10 years. I’m a 30-something mom of three kids under the age of seven. When I’m not playing dress-up or cooking or cleaning the same messes for the 26th time in the same day, I like to make pretty things.
And here is her super sweet Valentine!
Elena used Dewey Decimal papers for her school themed Valentine. She also used Schoolhouse Backdrops, Check This Out, and Smitty's ABCs for her custom punny sentiment. My Silly Valentine and Blissful Botanicals helped create her "crest". This is just too cute!
Thank you all so much for stopping by and welcoming Elena to the team! We can't wait to show you more Valentine's Day inspired projects tomorrow! Sending hugs to you all :)

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so cute! I love how the giraffes look in pink, and that school crest on Elena's card is genius!
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled to the gills! I just found out that my favorite online store, ScrapbookPal, is now carrying my favorite stamps- LAWN FAWN and I just finished doing something I've never ever done before. I made an online wishlist and I should note that everything on that list is LF. Why make a wishlist & not just go ahead & buy? Well, because the items aren't in stock yet. As soon as they are-my order will be on its way. Happy dance time!
ReplyDeleteNow if I ever get to Africa I'll expect PINK giraffes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card, I love that it isn't a typical Valentine! Thanks for linking to the mirror stamping video, I had missed it so it was great to catch it now.
