BBQ B-day

Here is a guy birthday card. So hard to do! I made a version of this for Father's Day, and I adapted it to a birthday. I just love those little weber grills!

I am going to visit my parents in Chicago tonight. My Dad just had his second knee replaced on Monday. He is doing really well, and I am really excited about getting to spend some time with him and my Mom! I am so glad that my Dad will have bionic knees that let him play sports again. It is amazing what they can do now, huh?

Also, in a craft related note, while I am there my Mom is going to take me to Archiver's!! I am so excited about going! I've never been. The wonderfully sweet Lynnette even sent me a coupon! How could I not go?! :)
Paper: Neenah Paper Environment (desert storm), Neenah Paper Classic Crest (solar white), Friendly Forest Scrap Pack (red graph paper)
Ink: Ranger Adirondack (pitch black), Color Box Fluid Chalk (charcoal)
Stamps: A Muse (grill, Happy Birthday ma)
Etc: 1 3/8" circle punch, Copics (C-1, R27, T-5)
Thank you so much for visiting!

Have an amazing day,

  1. What a sweetie that Lynnette! I meant to go to Archiver's when I was in Chicago but I missed my chance. I hope you have a great trip. Cute card too.

  2. Have fun shopping at Archiver's. I love that place. I hope you plan adequate time. Enjoy the time with your parents and safe travels my friend!

  3. Very cute! Love your graphic-styled designs!! :)

  4. Wow! When I hear "knee replacement" I just cringe! What a trooper your poppa is! And to have 2! Wow! I can't wait to be able to go to an Archivers! Take pics! Great card btw...lol! Like Ashley said, you have a great style! Love it!

  5. Very cute! I have a BBQ pit stamp that I have never used. I think I need to ink it up! :) Have a trip to your parents!

  6. Great man card! Very cool! Have fun at Archivers! I am jealous... would love to go there!

  7. Hope you're having a wonderful time hanging with your parents in Chicago! (It seems like I was just there . . . .) Love the cute bbq card!
